Thermal Design work for a Family of Notebook Products
Design work included detailed CFD modeling of heat sources, thermal paths and airflow paths.
Design verification and model validation done using temperature and airflow measurements.

Optics
Design of cooling sub-systems for the electronics that control the adaptive optics system of a 6.5-m diameter telescope
Analysis of the effects of temperature fluctuations on local and dome seeing, and thermal management of the optical bed and its environment
Thermal management of sealed CCD controller boxes and stepper motor - gear units (heat sink design for internal forced convection, coupling heat sink solution to external cooling by water-cooled cold plate).
