Participation in architectural level discussions in order to determine chassis design direction and component placement for optimum cooling

Selection and placement of blowers, design of baffles, assessment of heat sink requirements and selection of heat sink solutions

Air flow and thermal CFD analysis to predict the air supply and exhaust temperatures of racks/systems contained in Data Room and TELCO environment

Conduct CFD DOE analysis to determine CRAC volumetric air supply requirements, impact of equipment and rack location, ceiling height, and evaluate room air ducting designs that would allow the required air supply temperatures and air flow rates to be delivered to the inlet of the rack

Transient Analysis

Transient cooling of a 3-phase power inverter module in a Boiling Phase Change bath.

CFD simulation of transient phase change process to determine maximum MOSFET temperatures for a given duty cycle.
